Olivia Hill Fitted Furniture is the main sponsor for Team GB U16’s Ball Hockey who are competing in the ISBHF World Junior Championships in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic.
The squad which includes 21 players from across Yorkshire and Nottingham will make the trip to Hradec Králové in Czechia ahead of their first match on 25th June.
On competing in the tournament, GB U16 Team Manager Lee Farrow said: “this is ISBHF’s annual world championship tournament essentially so it’s all the best players of ball hockey from around the world in this age group representing their country.”
“It means a huge amount, it’s a small and niche sport compared to your football, rugby and cricket but you’re still the best of the best in this sport and representing your country.”
The majority of the U16s squad come from Yorkshire clubs with Hull’s Humberside Havoc being represented by eight players: George Sibary, Harry Moxon, James Hebb, Joseph Nock, Joshua Leng, Lewis Curry, Lucas Bradley and Matthew Bean.
